How the Labor Market Has Reacted to the Crisis?
Research Agency Magram, the Association of Private Employment Agencies, Non-Profit Partnership "The Experts of the Labor Market" and leading employment agencies Antal Russia, Cornerstone, Contact and Unity conducted a study of the labor market in 2014.
According to the study, in 2014 the market of recruitment reduced by 13% and amounted to 12.8 billion rubles. At the same time, the market of temporary staff rose by 11% to 29.3 billion rubles.
The gap between large and small recruitment agencies increased. Only large companies showed the growth. Their income increased by 16%.
In 2014 turnover of companies accounted for 5 sectors: manufacturing (21%), consumer goods (18%), retailers (13%), construction and real estate (12%), IT and telecommunications (10%).
Total number of employees decreased by 24% and amounted to 15170 people. The number of employees decreased mainly in the medium and small companies.
